Syfy Orders Script According to Electricity Comics' 'Booster Gold' (Exclusive)

The project, which originates from Greg Berlanti's Berlanti Productions in colaboration with Warner Horizon Television, will count Berlanti (Siblings & Siblings, No Regular Family, Eco-friendly Lantern) being an executive producer. Fringe's Andrew Kreisberg, who worked with with Berlanti on ABC'sEli Stone, is aboard to pen the script and executive produce. The storyline will focus on Booster Gold, a cleaned-up athlete in the future who travels back to the current expecting becoming the finest superhero ever. Rather than chasing after crooks, however, his primary priority is chasing after fame and cash. But Booster Gold finds out that as being a hero takes not only a megawatt smile, which the near future does not happen without first safeguarding the current. The comic character came out within the tenth and final season from the CW's Smallville, where it acquired still more fans. Berlanti and Kreisberg, whose other credits include Warehouse 13 and Red-colored Faction: Roots, are generally repped by WME.
